About Pokémon TCG: Collect 151

Collect 151 is a special Simplified Chinese Pokémon TCG expansion dedicated to the original 151 Pokémon from Generation I.

The expansion was first revealed in December 2024 as part of the introduction of the Scarlet & Violet era to the Simplified Chinese Pokémon TCG.

While inspired by the Japanese Pokémon Card 151 and international 151 expansions, the Simplified Chinese release features significant changes to its card selection and rarity lineup, giving Collect 151 its own identity.

Simplified Chinese Collect 151 Differences

The Simplified Chinese Collect 151 expansion includes several notable changes from other versions of Pokémon 151:

• Trainer cards have been removed, leaving the expansion focused entirely on Pokémon cards.
• The original 18 Illustration Rare (AR) cards were removed from the card pool.
• 18 Shiny Rare (S) cards originating from Shiny Treasure ex were added.
• Special Illustration Rare versions of Venusaur ex, Charizard ex, and Blastoise ex from the original 151 expansion were removed.
• Shiny Ultra Rare versions of Wigglytuff ex, Alakazam ex, and Mew ex were added.
• A Special Illustration Rare Mew ex originating from Shiny Treasure ex was added.
• Four special Pikachu Illustration Rare cards illustrated by Oswaldo KATO were created for the Simplified Chinese Collect 151 expansion.

These differences make the Simplified Chinese Collect 151 releases particularly interesting for collectors who already have cards from the Japanese or international 151 sets.

Exclusive Pikachu Illustration Cards

One of the standout features of the Simplified Chinese Collect 151 expansion is a collection of four Pikachu Illustration Rare cards illustrated by Oswaldo KATO.

These Pikachu illustrations were introduced specifically for the Simplified Chinese release.

Because Collect 151 was released through multiple booster products with different card pools, not every Pikachu illustration is available in every Collect 151 booster release.
